Waking up after an incredible sleep to what is the sound of multiple las paritas (parrots) may sound like the most annoying thing in the world, but when it is in this city, it is quite refreshing and welcomed.
Our morning started with a fresh brewed pot of coffee (or three) on the back porch of the AMCA house, talking of God's majesty and his works. (The coffee is fantastic down here by the way).
We followed up our morning cafe with a breakfast that was just as good as the food last night. Fue muy rico. Breakfast was followed by a good stroll around town, just taking in all the character this city has in a very limited sample. The weather has been great- mid 60s with not much humidity.
We are now waiting to set our sights on Los Chiles. We've been warned it is a bumpy but beautiful trek north. We will keep you all in the loop.
